This nature paradise is set right in the beautiful Kentucky River Palisades, and contains over 10 miles of different trails to explore. The family-friendly hiking trails run through woodland areas and lead to beautiful meadows and streams.
Let your kids’ imaginations reach new heights at the Emporium of Lexington. The facility is a massive interactive playground that allows children to express themselves artistically with their imaginations. The Bubble Zone lets kids create multiple different bubble shapes, while the Sketch Pad provides a hub of various art media to play around with. Parents should also check out the different art classes and summer camps that are especially catered to kids.
Get up-close to unique animals at the Kentucky Reptile Zoo. Bring your kids for a day at this special zoo, which houses exhibits depicting different reptiles.
