Garden City has been around since the 1800s and is now one of the nicest residential communities in the country. Their public library is open every day, all day, with a Children's Room, that has a large stock of books and events like, Family Gingerbread House Making. The streets are tree-lined and in spring, over 30,000 flower bulbs are planted, keeping the city colorful. Explore the world of fairy tales at Long Island Children's Museum, where kids can step into favorite once upon a time stories from around the world.
