Improve your game in summer 2024 with The Hotchkiss School Head Boy's Basketball Coach Joseph Busacca and staff at this coed basketball camp in Lakeville, CT. Focus on the fundamentals and fine-tuning your positional work, shooting technique, footwork and ball-handling skills.
The Complete Skills Camp helps players of all abilities develop athletically, refine fundamental basketball skills and enhance their skill set at the post, wing or guard position.

Camp Details
July 8-11, 2024
Check-in: Monday at 8:30am
Closing Ceremony: Thursday at 3:30pm
Meals: Lunch is not provided. Please bring a packed lunch.
Daily Hours: MON-THURS 9AM-4PM
*Per The Hotchkiss School policy, all campers must have received their primary COVID series vaccine to attend camp. Boosters are not required.
BASKETBALLS
Nike Versa Tack Basketballs can be purchased during registration for $30. Players can choose between a size 6 (28.5", standard girls) or size 7 (29.5", standard boys) ball, which will be passed out on the last day of camp. Please note that it is not required to bring a basketball to camp as they are provided by the staff for camp instruction.

If there are any imperative changes prior to camp start, registered campers will be notified via email and this webpage will be updated!
HEALTH & RELEASE FORMS
All registered campers are required to have a parent or legal guardian fill out US Sports Camps’ mandatory Health & Release Forms online before arrival at camp. The State of Connecticut requires a copy of camp participants’ most recent physical and record of immunizations, shots, etc., in addition to the US Sports Camps health and release form.
PACKING LIST
Below is a suggested list of clothes, equipment, and personal items. US Sports Camps is NOT responsible for lost or stolen articles or money.
● Athletic, on-court clothing

● Water bottle
● Packed lunch and snacks
● Small gym bag/backpack
CAMPER EVALUATION
Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week. In addition, campers will be evaluated and then split up into smaller groups according to age and ability.
MEDICAL PROTOCOL
Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is not provided by the camp to or from any airports. If you are flying to or from camp, we recommend using an airport shuttle service. Please schedule flights as close as you can to the check-in times on the first day and check-out times on the last day.

Campers will utilize the Forrest E. Mars Jr. Athletic Center. Built in 2002, the 222,000-square-foot Mars Center is used for for swimming and water polo, basketball, squash, hockey and indoor tennis.
