Pro Level Training Nike Basketball Camps' mission is to provide players with the skills and mental approach they need to become a better and more explosive player. The Complete Skills camp places emphasis on fundamentals, footwork, balance, and conditioning.

Camp Director Matt Vega

Matt Vega enters his 4th year as Boys Head Basketball Coach at Midwest High School and 11th year overall as a coach. Coach Vega is also the Owner of Wyoming Elite Basketball and has worked with a number of athletes in Wyoming and Colorado who have gone on to play college basketball.

Prior to Midwest High School, Vega spent time as the Women’s Assistant Basketball Coach at Casper College where he helped the team finish 4th & 9th in the nation in back to back years. During his 5 years at Casper College he helped train 3 NJCAA All Americans in consecutive years. After Casper College he moved to Colorado to become the Girl’s Head Basketball Coach at Platte Valley High School where he lead the Lady Broncos to back to back State Tournament appearances.

Matt is the Owner of Wyoming Elite Basketball and has worked with a number of athletes in Wyoming and Colorado who have gone on to play college basketball. Wyoming Elite focuses on building fundamentals and helping players grow to reach their full potential. Wyoming Elite also conducts skill workouts and camps all over Wyoming.

He also works with Midwest Elite Basketball travelling all over the Midwest Region conducting team camps focusing on team drills and individual skills. He is a certified I’m Possible basketball trainer as well as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach.

While in High School, Vega was a 2x All Conference and All State selection while playing at Rawlins High School. He was also a Wyoming/Montana All Star, North/South All Star and an All America Honorable Mention. He was also chosen for the Who’s Who in High School Sports and ended his high school career as a State Champion in 1997.

Pro Level Training’s concept is very simple: cover all grounds with everyone that we work with. In addition to skills training, we place major emphasis on the strength, conditioning and performance sides of the game.

The idea of Pro Level Training was conceived from Founder Joel Green’s desire to bring the “Pro” style of training and preparation to youth athletes. He saw that there was a need for athletes to learn how to properly prepare their minds and bodies for the game of basketball.
Our goal is to improve the quality of individual on court performance by providing clients with the physical & mental tools needed to get to the next level of their career. We enjoy both training and educating players to get the most out of each session.

BASKETBALLS

Nike Versa Tack Basketballs can be purchased during registration for $30. Players can choose between a size 6 (28.5", standard girls) or size 7 (29.5", standard boys) ball, which will be passed out on the last day of camp. Please note that it is not required to bring a basketball to camp as they are provided by the staff for camp instruction.

PACKING LIST

Below is a suggested list of clothes, equipment, and personal items. US Sports Camps is NOT responsible for lost or stolen articles or money.

CAMPER EVALUATION

Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week. In addition, campers will be evaluated and then split up into smaller groups according to age and ability.

MEDICAL PROTOCOL

Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation is not provided by the camp to or from any airports. If you are flying to or from camp, we recommend using an airport shuttle service. Please schedule flights as close as you can to the check-in times on the first day and check-out times on the last day.
