Train with one of the most prominent high school basketball coaches in the US, Coach Terri Bamford in summer 2024 at La Jolla Country Day School, a Nike Elite program! Attend the Complete Skills Camp and work on your offensive and defensive skills and add on the shooting camp to further develop shooting skills.
The Shooting Camp emphasizes technique, footwork, shooting drills, shooting off the dribble, shooting off the pass, shooting games, free throw shooting, and post/perimeter shooting.
The Complete Skills Camp helps players of all abilities develop athletically, refine fundamental basketball skills and enhance their skill set at the post, wing or guard position.

Camp Director Terri Bamford
Terri Bamford, Head Women's Basketball Coach at LJCDS since 1999, has been a Nike Basketball Camp Director since 1997. Bamford has led the four-time state champion women’s varsity basketball. During her tenure, Coach Bamford’s squads have posted an impressive 533-156 record, winning 16 League titles and 15 San Diego Section CIF titles (2001-2008, 2010-2013, 2020).

Camp Meals
Shooting: Dinner is not provided. A concession stand will be available for snack purchases.
Complete Skills: Meals are not provided. Half day campers are encouraged to eat prior to arrival. Snacks will be available for purchase for full day campers.
BASKETBALLS
Nike Versa Tack Basketballs can be purchased during registration for $30. Players can choose between a size 6 (28.5", standard girls) or size 7 (29.5", standard boys) ball, which will be passed out on the last day of camp. Please note that it is not required to bring a basketball to camp as they are provided by the staff for camp instruction.

Below is a suggested list of clothes, equipment, and personal items. US Sports Camps is NOT responsible for lost or stolen articles or money.

CAMPER EVALUATION
Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week. In addition, campers will be evaluated and then split up into smaller groups according to age and ability.
MEDICAL PROTOCOL
Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is not provided by the camp to or from any airports. If you are flying to or from camp, we recommend using an airport shuttle service. Please schedule flights as close as you can to the check-in times on the first day and check-out times on the last day.
