Get ready for an awesome summer at the University of New Haven! The camp's curriculum is all about providing the campers with an elevated pro-athlete training experience. Join our flag football session to better understand the fundamentals of the game or get involved in contact football to better prepare yourself for your upcoming football season! Our Nike camps are designed for football players looking to improve their skills in a safe and controlled setting.
Offensive and defensive position drills follow a proper stretching and warm-up each day, along with fun football competitions. Our camps will be focused on position specific technique, fundamentals and training along with 1 on 1 and 7 on 7 competition. Campers will apply what they’ve learned earlier in the day and bring it to the field for exciting football games. This is a great opportunity for any young athlete looking to improve their game, have fun, make new friends, and raise their confidence.

Camp Details
Instruction will develop fundamentals and advanced skills, focusing on footwork, offensive and defensive skills, team play, and game situations. You can expect high demand for these first come first serve camper spots, so please be sure to register early.

- Camp Types: Day | Overnight
- Schedule: Sunday-Wednesday
- Day Camper Check-In: Sunday 1:00pm. Check out 6:30pm
- Day Camper Schedule: Monday-Tuesday, 9:00am-5:30pm. Wednesday, 9am-12:30pm
- Overnight Check-In: 12:00pm-12:30pm on Sunday at Bergami Hall
- Overnight Schedule: Sunday - Wednesday. Sunday Check In 12-12:30pm (Early to Setup Room).
- Check-Out: 12:30pm on Wednesday for all campers
- Day Camper Meals: Sunday dinner. Monday/Tuesday lunch and dinner. Wednesday Lunch
- Overnight Campers: Housing on campus and all meals are provided.
Campers must bring own equipment i.e Helmet and Shoulder Pads

- Roommates: Rooms are assigned by age & roommate requests. Roommate requests must be received no later than 14 days before the start of camp. If you don't have a roommate request, you will be placed in a room with someone near your age. It will be a great opportunity to meet someone new!
- Linens: Not included. Bring linens or a sleeping bag, pillow, pillowcase, and a towel.
- Air Conditioning: Yes
- Multiple lounges in dorms on each floor and then a main lounge on the first floor with pool table and TVs.

INSTRUCTION & FACILITY
Ratio: 1:10 staff to camper ratio
Flag Groupings: Campers grouped 1/2, 3/4, and 5/6.
Contact Groupings: Campers grouped 5/6, 7/8 9/10.
Facility: Outdoor Fields. Indoor facilities are available during inclement weather conditions.
Flag Football: Soccer field adjacent to Bergami Hall

MEDICAL PROTOCOL
Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
TRAVEL
Nike Football Camps does not provide transportation from airports, train stations or bus depots. If you have a child flying to camp, please arrange a shuttle or taxi service.
TEAM/GROUP DISCOUNT
If you have a group of campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a discount. Please have someone contact the US Sports Camps office at 1-800-645-3226 with the names of each camper in the group and we will create a unique discount code for your group. Campers may then register individually through the website at their convenience and apply the offer code during checkout. *Discount amount varies by program. Please call for details.

Ralph F. DellaCamera Stadium
Newly renovated with state-of-the-art blue and gold Sprinturf, Ralph F. DellaCamera Stadium hosted its’ first football game on Saturday, September 19, 2009. Sporting a large Charger logo in the center, the renovation was made possible by a gift from alumnus Ralph F. DellaCamera Jr., managing member and CIO of DellaCamera Capital Management LLC in Manhattan and a member of the university’s board of governors.
