Nike Junior Golf Camps
Get ready for an amazing experience in Birmingham, AL! Join Director of Player Development and U.S. Kids Golf Top 50 Kids Coach, Paul Killgallon, this summer at Highland Park Golf Course. This camp provides top-notch instruction, so come and see why hundreds of campers have attended this junior golf program. Improve your game and have fun with our experienced teaching professionals this summer!
FULL DAY CAMPS
Students in the full day camp enjoy three hours of instruction each morning. Instruction focuses on all facets of the game and prepares the junior player for the challenges of the course. Campers will receive a strong emphasis on short game, goal setting, mental game, practice routines, course management techniques and lowering your scores. After lunch, it’s off to the first tee for course play. During course play, junior will learn strategy, rules, etiquette and game management. Our Full Day Camp is designed to create complete golfers and raise their game to the next level! This program runs from 9:00am - 4:00pm daily and is open to golfers ages 9 - 16. This camp is geared towards intermediate to advanced players. Lunch is provided for full day campers each day.
HALF DAY CAMPS
This program offers campers of all abilities the opportunity to work on and improve every part of their game. Half day campers receive three hours of instruction including putting, chipping, pitching and full swing. A strong emphasis will be placed on the fundamentals - stance, grip, posture, full swing, rules and etiquette. Each Wednesday, campers will be dropped off and picked up at TopGolf where they will receive instruction and participate in interactive skills and games. Half Day Camp runs from 9:00am - 1:00pm daily and is open to golfers ages 6 - 13. Half Day camps are designed for beginner and intermediate golfers. Lunch is provided for all half day campers.
*The week of July 15-18 is a GIRLS ONLY Half Day camp.
YOUNGER 3-DAY CAMPS
This program is designed for the newer golfer looking to learn the basics and fundamentals while having a lot of fun. Camp will run Monday to Wednesday, 9:00am-1:00pm and is for golfers ages 5-8.

Paul Killgallon is a PGA teaching professional and U.S. Kids Golf Top 50 Kids Coach and serves as camp director for Nike Junior Golf Camps at Highland Park. He comes to Highland Park after serving as a teaching pro in Savannah Harbor for 17 years.

Camp Details
This program is designed for boys and girls between the ages of 5 and 16 (varies by program). The staff is on hand to provide campers with top quality instruction each day. At Nike Junior Golf Camps we accommodate all skill levels; the junior player just discovering the game, the high school player trying to move up on the team, and the tournament level junior looking to improve his or her tournament results. Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week.

- Check-In: Please check in at 8:30am on the first day of camp. For the rest of the week, please check in 15 minutes prior to the start of camp.
- Drop-off: Drop off each day is by The Club grill
- Lunch: Lunch is provided for all campers.
- Program: The All Abilities program is designed to improve the fundamental skills needed for golf including putting, chipping, bunker play, and full-swing. On the first day of camp, all participants will be evaluated by the instructors and placed into groups based on age and ability level in various individual, small group and full group settings.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?
- Instruction: Morning instruction and afternoon course play (for full day campers only)
- Lunch: Lunch is provided for all campers.
- Supervision: Campers are supervised by staff during camp hours.
- Camper Amenity Package: Campers will receive an amenity package including a Nike hat, drawstring bag, SRIXON golf balls, camp workbook, and graduation certificate.
INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & FACILITY
- Ratio: 1:8 staff-to-camper ratio.
- Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience.
- Equipment Needed: Players should supply their own golf clubs, glove, golf balls, and tees. Through Nike Junior Golf Camps we do not provide club rentals at this camp. You can reach out to the Pro-Shop at the golf course to see if they have any rentals available for your session of camp. The phone number is (205) 322-1902.
- Facility: Highland Park Golf Course and TopGolf
- Medical Protocol: Camp will have on-site staff to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.

HIGHLAND PARK GOLF COURSE
Alabama's Highland Park Golf Course was originally established in 1903 as the Country Club of Birmingham, making it the oldest golf course in Alabama. Highland Park has been the site of many important golf events including one of renowned golfer Bobby Jones’s first victories. The Highland Park facilities - golf course, adjoining tennis club, clubhouse facilities, etc. - are all located in the heart of one of Birmingham's favorite neighborhoods. The Highland Park area has grown significantly over the past decade as the city of Birmingham continues to revitalize the Downtown Area.
Highland Park was recently ranked in the top 30 for best municipal courses in the United States! Don’t be fooled by the 5,800-yard, par-70 scorecard: elevation changes, creeks, lakes and plenty of movement on the small greens make the course play longer than you might think, while not robbing the design of any of its quirky fun.
