Our Nike junior tennis camp in Portland, Oregon at Lewis & Clark College offers both winter and summer camps for kids. This top Oregon tennis camp combines instruction, drilling, and competitive tennis play.

Co-Director Phalkun Mam
This is the second stint on the Lewis & Clark coaching staff for Phalkun Mam. In his first season back with the Pios in 2019-20, he previously coached at Lewis & Clark from 2007-13.

Co-Director Jimmy Chau
Jimmy Chau was named the head coach in the summer of 2018 after starting his tenure as an assistant in 2005. Overall, the 2019-20 season is his 15th on the coaching staff and his second leading the program.

CAMP SCHEDULE
- Check-in: All campers check in on the first day of camp on Monday prior to 9:00am
- Check-out: Campers will check out on last day of camp on Thursday at 4:00pm
- Camp Schedule: Monday-Thursday 9:00am-4:00pm
SPRING BREAK CAMP SCHEDULE
- Monday-Wednesday 9:00am-12:00pm
CAMP PROGRAMS
All sessions are open to players of all abilities. Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week.
- All Skills Program: The All Skills program is designed for tennis players of any skill level and background. Campers will learn fundamentals and improve upon their game.
- Tournament Training Program: The Tournament Training program is geared towards tournament-level and ranked players looking to improve their tournament results, learn winning strategies, and work on mental toughness. Open to any and all players
- High School Program: The High School program is provided for any and all players currently on their high school team and wanting to move up the ladder or those planning on making the high school team
*We can also provide low-compression balls for younger campers when requested as we use small courts and the low-compression balls for campers as a training technique for touch and volleys
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?
- Instruction: Daily tennis training, for the morning sessions
- Supervision: Staff members will be on each court and will make sure to adhere to 6:1 camper/staff ratio
- Camp T-shirt: All campers receive a Nike Tennis Camps t-shirt
Parking/Directions to Dome
- Once on campus, there are Gate Entrances in Black that are numbered, enter Gate 2 for Sport Complexes and drive down the hill past the Football Stadium to the Lower Parking, where you'll see the big grey Tennis Dome to your right.
INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT, & FACILITY
- Ratio: 6:1 camper-to-coach ratio
- Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience
- Equipment Needed: All campers must bring a tennis racquet, tennis shoes, and a water bottle. Campers should come ready to play
- Facility: Campers play at Lewis and Clark's beautiful tennis court with its 4 indoor courts
- Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital

July 2, 2023: It was a great experience for my son. The format was great for him to team up with other campers and socialize while learning. NOTE: one other really important feature for me was having indoor courts in the summer. This was important in my camp decision.
