Camp Director Bob Ewing
Coach Bob Ewing is a private tennis coach and instructor with extensive tennis experience in a variety of capacities. Coach Ewing enjoys teaching tennis and has coached boys and girls, and adults. His previous coaching roles include teaching pro at Crane Creek Tennis Club, tennis coach at Rocky Mountain High School and tennis coach Wabash High School in Indiana.

CAMP PROGRAM
We offer a junior Full Day camp that runs Monday-Thursday (1:00pm-5:00pm) for boys and girls, of all abilities levels, ages 8-18. All sessions are open to players of all abilities unless otherwise noted. All participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week.
- All Skills Program: The All Skills program is designed for tennis players of any skill level and background. Campers will learn fundamentals and improve upon their game.
CAMP SCHEDULE
- Check-in: Campers check in Monday-Thursday at 1:00 pm at the tennis courts
- Check-out: Campers check out Monday-Wednesday at 5:00pm and Thursday at 4:30pm at the tennis courts.
- Camp Hours: Monday-Wednesday 1:00pm-5:00pm, Thursday 1:00pm-4:30pm
- Closing Ceremony: Thursday at 4:30pm. Parents are welcome to attend. Departure immediately following the ceremony.
- Check In & Check Out Location: Settler’s Park Tennis Courts
INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT, FACILITY
- Instruction: Daily tennis training
- Ratio: 6:1 camper-to-coach ratio
- Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience
- Equipment Needed: All campers must bring a tennis racquet, tennis shoes, and a water bottle
- Camp T-shirt & Prizes: All campers receive a Nike Tennis Camps t-shirt
- Facility: Settler's Park Tennis Complex's 9 outdoor tennis courts
- Inclement Weather Plan: Coaches will communicate any changes in plans with campers directly
- Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital
