Athletes from the area and beyond are welcome to join our volleyball camp in Mesa, Arizona, at Arizona Athletic Grounds! We offer a variety of programs, so everyone has the opportunity to get better and have a great time.
Campers will get top-notch training from expert coaches and a camp curriculum designed by Coach James Finley, former DI head volleyball coach at Seattle University. This camp is super fun and competitive, and it will help you feel prepared for the volleyball season in 2024!

SERVING CLINIC SCHEDULE

- Skill Levels: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced
- Beginner: Recommended for girls ages 11-14, and boys ages 10-13 with 0-1 year of experience
- Intermediate: Recommended for girls ages 12-15, and boys ages 11-14 with at least 1-3 years of playing experience and 1+ year of club experience
- Advanced: Recommended for players ages 14-18, with 3+ years of club experience, consistently served overhand, understand rotations, and have a primary position
- Gender: Girls & boys*
- Daily Hours: 9:00am-11:30am
- Check-in: 8:15am

- Program: This Serving clinic is designed to focus solely on serving the volleyball. Learn how to be confident and aggressive from behind the line! This program is open to players of all abilities and will focus on the various techniques of serving, along with improving consistency and finding the serve that fits your game best. Campers will learn and improve through drill work, challenging games, demonstrations, and maximum repetitions.
*Nets will be set up at women's regulation height
*If you are planning to attend the Passing Clinic or Setting after, please bring your lunch. Campers will be supervised between sessions.
PASSING CLINIC SCHEDULE

- Program: This Little Volleys program is designed for young players, who are just starting out or in the first year of learning the basic skills of volleyball. Campers ages 5-10 years old will play with a lighter ball and on a lower net to help introduce volleyball skills, motor development, and serious fun!
BEGINNER ALL SKILLS CAMP SCHEDULE
- Session I: June 6-8
- Session II: July 17-19
- Beginner: Recommended for girls ages 11-14, and boys ages 10-13 with 0-1 year of experience
- Gender: Girls & boys*
- Daily Hours: Day 1-3: 9:00am-4:00pm

- Program: This Beginner All Skills program is geared towards girls ages 11-14, and boys ages 10-13 with 0-1 year of experience. Campers will be taught the basic skills for all positions, with exposure to volleyball systems, rotations, and competitions. Our 10-12-year-old athletes train on the same net height with the lighter ball that is used when playing USA Volleyball 12 and under. Our 13-14-year-old athletes undergo skill testing and are placed on courts with other campers at their same physical and skill abilities to create success and confidence for each athlete. All campers will be taught the same skills and concepts.

INTERMEDIATE ALL SKILLS CAMP SCHEDULE

- Intermediate: Recommended for girls ages 12-15, and boys ages 11-14 with at least 1-3 years of playing experience and 1+ year of club experience

- Program: This Intermediate All Skills program is geared towards girls ages 12-15, and boys ages 11-14 with at least 1-3 years of playing experience and 1+ year of club experience. HS PREP/ADVANCED CAMP SCHEDULE

- Advanced: Recommended for players ages 14-18, with 3+ years of club experience, consistently served overhand, understand rotations, and have a primary position
- Gender: Girls only
- Daily Hours: Day 1-2: 9:00am-6:00pm, Day 3: 9:00am-4:00pm
- Check-in: 8:15am on Day 1
- Lunch: Lunch is not provided. Please bring a sack lunch each day.
- Program: This HS Prep/Advanced program is geared towards high school and club level players, ages 14-18 entering into grades 8-12, with 2 or more years of competitive experience. All athletes MUST have a minimum of 2 years of playing experience outside of middle school and high school volleyball, basic volleyball and position skills, and some understanding of rotation along with the ability to serve overhand. This intense, challenging program stresses position play, advanced team techniques, physical conditioning, and a higher level of competitive play. The camp will provide players with, position work & development, skill development, rotations, offensive and defensive systems, and developing a player's ability to read and process the game. In addition, players will work on mindset training and concepts for positive self-talk, confidence building, and methods to handle pressure during competition.

TEAM TOURNAMENT CAMP SCHEDULE
- Date: July 20
- Gender/Ages: Girls, ages 10-18
- Daily Hours: 9:00am-4:00pm
- Check-in: 8:15am on Day 1
- Lunch: Lunch is not provided. Please bring a sack lunch each day.
- Program: This Team Tournament program is designed for teams looking to participate in a tournament and recieve live instruction while scrimmaging other teams from the area. Players must have a team of 7-10 players to sign up. Each player will register individually. $15 per player.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?
- Instruction: Morning and afternoon training sessions
- Supervision: Campers are supervised by staff during camp hours
- Lunch: Lunch is not provided. Campers should bring a packed lunch each day.
- Camp T-shirt & Prizes: Campers at multi-day camps will receive a Nike Volleyball Camps t-shirt and prizes. *1-day clinics excluded.
- Volleyballs: Volleyballs are provided for instruction during camp. Campers may purchase a camp volleyball at the time of registration, which will be given out on the last day of camp. Fun tip: Have your camp friends sign your ball before you leave!
INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & FACILITY
- Ratio: 1:10 staff-to-camper ratio
- Groupings: Campers are grouped by ability, age, and experience
- Equipment Needed: Players should supply their own kneepads and have at least one pair of well-broken-in volleyball (court) shoes. Campers do not need to bring their own ball.
- Facility: Indoor courts
- Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.

TEAM/GROUP DISCOUNTS
If you have a group of eight or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a discount. Please have someone contact the US Sports Camps office at 1-800-645-3226 with the names of each camper in the group and we will create a unique discount code for your group. Campers may then register individually through the website at their convenience and apply the offer code during check out. *Discount amount varies by program. Please call for details.

Campers will train on the 18-court Taraflex flooring gym at Arizona Athletic Grounds sports complex, a 320-acre private family sports and entertainment complex in Mesa, AZ.
Camp Questions & Answers
Can I attend more than one session?
Absolutely! Campers are encouraged to attend multiple sessions. Each program delivers something unique to help players excel in all areas of the game. Many campers will attend more than one session to further refine their skills, compete against new players, or choose a session with a different program focus.
Can I sign up for 2 sessions that are at the same time?
Please check the times for the sessions you are signing up for carefully! We do have some sessions that are during the same time block. Unfortunately, a camper cannot attend sessions that are occurring at the same time.
