Camp Akeela

Camp Akeela is an intentional camp community offering a well-rounded and traditional program that emphasizes the social growth of our campers, many of whom have been diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome (or, more recently, high functioning autism spectrum disorder) or a nonverbal learning disability (NLD). Campers make life-long friends, develop self-confidence, achieve independence, and leave camp with lasting memories filled with fun and spirit.
