Each summer, 80 teenagers between the ages of twelve and eighteen come to Chop Point from all over the world to have one of the best summers of their lives. Chop Point is a camp just for teenagers, which means our program is tailored to the needs of this particular age group. Campers are given the chance to select the activities they like, and are given plenty of supervised free time to try new activities or just hang out with friends.
Chop Point is a recognized non-profit corporation operating multiple Christian ministries, including:
- A summer camp in Maine for teenagers from all over the world
- A K-12 school in Maine for local students, plus a small boarding program
- A summer camp in Nicaragua serving disadvantaged children, also functioning as a social service project for school and church groups from the U.S
- A guesthouse in Nicaragua serving families in transition, such as those traveling to the country to adopt orphans
