Story of our camp…

Our summer camp is relatively new, we are gearing up for our 10th year. We, at Double A Day Camp, believe camp should be a fun yet mentally challenging and physically stimulating experience. Our cleverly crafted camp is structured like a contest. We group the campers into tribes based on their ages. We then educate and train each camper for the metal and physical challenges that lie ahead. Each day every tribe will rotate through a gauntlet of challenges accumulating points based on their mental acuity and physical prowess, while learning and applying life skills such as honesty, integrity, respect, responsibility and sportsmanship  that will forge a strong foundational  core that will help steer them through several of the pitfalls that surely lay ahead in adolescence.

How many campers will attend this camp?

Since we offer several sessions throughout the entire summer, we will see hundreds of campers!

What opportunities does your camp offer?

Our camp offers several opportunities for kids to experience a broad range of activities. Our specialized staff of teachers and athletic counselors will lead your child(ren) in academic endeavors and physical challenges that will keep them mentally sharp and physically fit all summer long. We will be offering activities such as: arts and crafts, brain teasers, lesson plans built around the theme of the week, fundamentals in baseball, basketball, cheerleading, dance, dodge ball, football, golf, gymnastics, hockey and soccer. At the end of each week we will let them put what they have learned to the test, as each Friday will be tournament day.

Teachers, counselors and facility….

We have hand-picked our staff to help us accomplish some very specific goals and to create an atmosphere that fosters growth in several areas. Our name is Double A Day Camp, the Double A stands for athletics and Academics. We sought out staff members who could help us set high standards in both of these areas.
