WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
▪ Girls and Boys going into grades 4-9 for the 2007-2008 school year
- Illinois Heat will hold tryouts for girls 10U, 11U, 12U, 13U, 14U & 15U and boys 10U, 11U, 12U, & 13U in October. (Tryout age for next year’s teams is determined by the age of the athlete on August 31, 2008.)
▪ Athletes do not need to have prior volleyball experience
▪ June camps are designed for athletes with no prior club volleyball experience. July – September camps are designed for all athletes.
COST:
The day camps (4 hours of instruction) are $40 for each date. If you attend at least 5 sessions you will receive a $5 discount per session. The week long skill camp (40 hours of instruction) is only $200.

WHAT TO EXPECT:
All camps will offer quality volleyball instruction from our club coaches. Our camps will focus on teaching basic and advanced skills in the areas of serving, passing, setting, hitting, and blocking. Players will be split into groups based on experience and drills will be tailored to fit the level of play of the group to keep it fun and challenging for everyone.
Our camps are a good way to expose players to volleyball for the first time so they can see if it is something they enjoy. For more experienced players, these camps will help keep your skills sharp before middle school or club tryouts in the fall. The more players from your middle school team that attend summer volleyball camps, the stronger your team will be this year. Players who attend our skills camps will be well prepared for our club tryouts in October.
Space is limited for each camp. Please ensure you pre-register to ensure your spot in the camps of your choice. Spaces will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. A confirmation email will be sent to you at the email address(es) on your registration form within 48 hours of receipt of your registration to confirm availability in your chosen sessions.
HOW TO REGISTER:.
Remember, if you select 5 or more single date camps, you only pay $35 for each of the single day camps.
