I.P.Y.N.C is a summer camp for young people ages six to fifteen years of age who cannot go to the beach without looking under seaweed and seeing what creatures are hiding there.
Camps are held during the week day, five days a week for four weeks in July and August. Camps are designed to stimulate children’s natural curiosity about the world and help them better understand and appreciate St. Margaret’s Bay’s natural areas in a fun and relaxing environment. Children explore the bay’s shores, make crafts and play games related to the day’s topic of study. Camps include a field trip and help from local universities, such as the St. Mary’s Centre for Environmental Monitoring and guest lectures by shark experts.
