Universal Camping

Universal Camping is a unique sleep away camp located in in the Catskill Mountains in Upstate New York with beautiful, state of the art facilities with exquisite pine log dormitories with modern baths and an atmosphere of kindness and caring.

In addition to recreation, academics, fine arts and sports, the camp schedule is filled with interesting workshops on forestry, backpacking, wilderness survival, frontier construction, first aid, and cooking, as well as peer counseling and creative writing. Campers develop a rewarding esprit-de-corps as they work together to learn more about Nature that is magnificently spread out around them panoramically with Catskill Mountain splendor. Friendships they find are long lasting and the feelings deep with fond memories.

The activities include Swimming, Martial Arts, Field Sports, Track and wilderness skill training; Music, Drama, Crafts and Art; intriguing trips like Howe Caverns & Cooperstown Baseball Hall of Fame.
