We are a little out of the way - a lot out of the ordinary. Ghost Lake Lodge is a vacation retreat that offers a refuge on a virtually private lake in the seclusion of the Chequamegon National Forest.

The combined kitchen/living room has windows overlooking the lake and a stone wood burning fireplace. A single bathroom comes with a combination tub/shower. It has a deck as well as a small screened porch with a private view. WiFi, TV (no reception), DVD player with a collection of DVD's, fire pit, barbecue grill and private pier. Max occupancy also includes a futon in the living room, (kids' use only for sleeping please.) Three log bedrooms, one with a queen and twin, and two bedrooms with two twin beds open to a remodeled full bathroom with tub/shower and a smaller half bath and new paneling in the living room and master bedroom. Read MoreA place where you can do nothing or a lot. Here the woodland extends to the waters edge and your only obvious neighbors are nature and fabulous foliage. Relax in your comfortable, sometimes funky, log cabin or lodge apartment and enjoy a game or tennis or a refreshing swim in our heated pool. Grab some wood from the firewood shed and sit around your private fire pit. Hike, bike, kayak, canoe or fish for musky, bass, crappie and walleye. Paddle out to the point for a shore lunch at the campsite. Hunt for ruffed grouse or deer, and afterwards enjoy a cold one in our lodge with friends.
