Camp Friendship offers some of the most affordable accommodations and conference venues in the state. Whether you are looking for the perfect site for a youth group, church meeting, family retreat, wedding reception, or a special group experience Camp Friendship can provide everything you need to make your event a success! Stay for a day or stay overnight, we have the ideal facility to host your group up to 400 people.
We are open year round for use by rental groups. The program areas available for groups include lakes for fishing and environmental study, ropes course, tennis courts, sports fields, horseback riding, basketball courts, volleyball courts, and campfire areas, all surrounded by the scenic Rivanna River. Facilities include heated cabins and lodges for overnight accommodations, meeting rooms, cookout and picnic areas, and dining halls. Full meal service is available.
Camp Friendship is nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains on 520 acres of rolling hills and scenic woods in Palmyra, Virginia and is just one hour from Richmond and less than 2 1⁄2 hrs from Washington DC.
