Newbie at Summer Camp
Mar 29, 2016, 6:29 PM
I recently got the position of director at summer camp for 2nd-5th graders. I have had experience working in summer camp, but this is my first time running the show. I have the games and crafts all planned out and some other stuff, but I'm trying to figure out the best way to make the camp as fun as possible and to make sure to give the kids that "summer camp" feeling. If you have any tips or tricks I could use I'd greatly appreciate it.

Congratulations for your new post. Wish you will have a good time entertaining and helping kids develop their skills and have fun at the same time.
Re: [Mitchman399] Newbie at Summer Camp
Love the concept of summer camps for students. It helps them in their overall development. Kids make most of it. Last year they were enrolled in summer camp programs at https://www.markhamsportsdome.com/camps/
Few excellent ideas would be to include:
Sports & Fitness
Art&Craft (interactive group wise learning in art)
Drawing and painting
Singing and dancing
Fun with Science
Splash Pool Activities.
I always encourage my kids for such camps.
