NACCHO National Camping Conference Can't Post

North American Camp Conference for Hemophilia Organizations - (NACCHO) is dedicated to summer camps that serve children of the bleeding disorders community.

When: January 25 to 27th, 2008

Where: Tempe Mission Palms Hotel, Tempe, AZ

Bleeding Disorder camp directors are invited to attend a special Camp Director's Pre-Conference starting the afternoon of January 24, 2008 and continuing through the afternoon of Friday, January 25. It is being held for camp directors to focus on best practices, staff training and camp management particularly relevant to the funding, administration, and supervision aspects of running a summer camp for those affected by bleeding disorders.

Special Speaker: Dr. Christopher Thurber, creator of "Leadership Essentials", the new premium library of online video staff training modules; producer of the DVD "The Secret Ingredients of Summer Camp Success", and co-author of the best-selling "Summer Camp Handbook".

Dr. Thurber will provide a keynote address on Friday, January 25 and will lead workshops all day Saturday, January 26.

The upcoming NACCHO conference will provide education and learning opportunities through five major interest tracks:
  1. Business & Operations Track
  2. Campers & Parent Track
  3. Programs & Activities Track
  4. Staff and Leadership Track
  5. Medical Services Track
