Brewster Academy

Brewster Academy Summer Session (BASS) teaching assistants (TAs) function in three critical areas working with students ages 12-18. First, in academics, you will collaborate with core classroom teachers working from the same curriculum in either (a) English (reading, writing, and critical thinking skills) OR (b) high school math (pre-algebra, algebra I, II and/or geometry) OR (c) ESL (English as a Second Language). Second, you will work with a TA partner as a residential dorm parent for a group of 10 to 14 kids. Third, you will oversee one of our afternoon adventure recreation programs (which also includes Saturday trips) carried out on local water bodies or in New Hampshire's White Mountains and nearby foothills or seacoast. Must be 21 and college educated.
