Camp Eden/Camp Ein Gedi

The position of specialist or counsellor at Camp Eden and Camp Ein Gedi is a unique opportunity to develop skills in the areas of:

Ø      Leadership

Ø      Communication

Ø      behaviour management

Ø      teamwork

Ø      programming. 

It is also a chance to work with an amazing and close team of staff and some wonderful children in the Toronto area.  We provide in depth training, have great socials, and believe that summer camp staff are meant to work hard but also to have lots of fun!!!

The job requires caring for a group of children between the ages of 8 – 13.  The camp offers a range of activities from swimming, canoeing, kayaking, landsports, nature, arts and crafts, drama, etc.  Counsellors are expected to participate enthusiastically in all activities, while caring for the needs of their individual campers.  Specialists coordinate and lead programs in their area of expertise.

Camp staff must be:

Ø      Energetic

Ø      enthusiastic

Ø      positive

Ø      able to multitask

Ø      work well with others

Ø      possess great leadership skills.
