Camp Lindenmere

Each year, we travel the world in search of quality individuals who possess the characteristics we consider necessary to excel as a camp counselor. These characteristics include patience, diligence, adaptability, enthusiasm, and above all a sincere desire to enhance the lives of the children they live and work with.

While the counselors spend a large portion of their day in a supervisory capacity, a unique trait to Lindenmere is that each staff member specializes in a particular area. Whether it is sports, arts, music, or theatre, each staff member is hired based on their instructional and practical experience in their specialty.

"I'll never forget the memories of the friends I made at Lindenmere", are the words we hear most often as our staff bids farewell. Our staff came from fourteen states across the country and eleven countries around the globe, including Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Germany, England, Czech Republic, and South Africa.

You can expect your summer as a counselor to be a demanding experience. Yet there are few opportunities which compare with the rewarding and fulfilling experience of working as a camp counselor at Lindenmere.
