Summer Seasonal Jobs at Camp Men-O-Lan

Summer staff include sr. counselors, assistant counselors, lifeguards, head counselors, and kitchen-dining hall staff.  Staff members are committed Christians who want to impact kids for Christ. 

Leadership staff work 8 weeks.  Day camp staff work 8 weeks. Resident camp staff work 7 to 8 weeks.  Lifeguards and kitchen/dining hall staff work 8 to 11 weeks.  The camp office assistant works 10 weeks.  The audio/visual tech/photographer works 7 weeks.  (These weeks include training.)  Wilderness camp staffing varies, depending upon needs.

Pay varies according to position and past years' work at Men-O-Lan.  Stipends range from $140 to $180 per week.  Everyone who works the majority of the camp sessions also gets an end-of-summer bonus.  And those taking college classes or going on missions trips in the fall can receive one or more shares of a scholarship fund.  (Some Christian colleges match this scholarship!)

We can help you turn your camp experience into an internship for college credit if your college accepts such credits.  We also have a program where you can earn transferable college credits for working at camp.  Room and board is provided for resident camp staff and are also available to a limited number of day camp staff who assist in our early and after care programs.
