Camp Tecumseh

Camp Tecumseh's strongest asset continues to be the high quality of its staff team. Our year-round professional staff have a full-time responsibility and commitment to camping. All of our counselors are college age and chosen for their maturity and desire to be good role models for campers. The relationship between a camper and their counselor is at the heart of Camp Tecumseh's success. Our summer staff of over 100 provides 1 leader to every 3 curious, energetic kids. Two staff live, work, and play with each cabin unit. We even have international counselors who enhance opportunities for cross-cultural understanding. A registered nurse is on hand 24 hours a day and emergency hospital facilities are only 12 miles away.
