Camp Wise

For 100 summers Camp Wise has been a special place for kids and staff of all ages. Camp Wise is located 30 miles east of Cleveland, on 250 acres of rolling hills and lush forests, where there is always something special to discover. Established as part of the Cleveland Jewish Community Center, Camp Wise serves nearly 500 kids from all over Ohio and the rest of the United States.

Our diverse programming includes nature, arts and crafts, drama, sports, ropes course, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, climbing, horseback riding and so much more! Every day at Camp Wise is an adventure in self-discovery, community-building, and fun.

In the words of one long-time staffer, “Any camp can offer these great programs, but what sets Camp Wise apart is the people. The staff is comprised of such diverse and energetic individuals, coming together to provide the best possible summer for the campers. The staff establishes such a positive atmosphere at camp that it’s impossible to not have fun. Being part of the staff allows me to make new friends and be part of a group – a group that works together all summer to accomplish great things.”
