Killooleet Camp

Killooleet is owned and directed by educators.  We offer a wide range of activities including team and individual sports, performing arts and visual arts.  Most campers stay for the full seven weeks and we build a strong community in which each is espected for his or her strengths.  Individualized teaching enhances skills and campers specialize in activities as the summer progresses.  All counselors teach their activities, share responsibility for a cabin, go on weekly hikes and two overnight trips, and become an integral part of a thoughtful, creative educational community.  Scheduling is flexible to encourage individual initiative and ideas. Counselors are encouraged to develop their own curriculum and teaching style within general guidelines of philosophy and specific ones of safety.  Besides summer in Vermont and salary, compensation includes room and board, travel expenses, certification in Wilderness First Aid, entertainment and the chance to hone your leadership skills while making friends from around the world.
