We are so glad that you've shown interest in being part of the team here at Pleasant Hill Outdoor Center. Whether you were once a camper here, are acquainted with someone else who has been a part of our ministry, have come to a retreat with your church, or simply have seen our literature and had your interest sparked, we are thankful for the opportunity to share the ministry of Pleasant Hill Outdoor Center with you.

From exciting recreation to the adventure of new discoveries and challenging spiritual influence, Pleasant Hill Outdoor Center is sure to find a place in you heart. PHOC is located near Perrysville OH, on Pleasant Hill Lake. With hundreds of acres, hosting thick woodlands among the beautiful Mohican Hills, PHOC functions as a summer camp June through August, providing residential programs each week. The remainder of the year PHOC hosts various retreats and outdoor activities including groups on our High and Low Challenge Course.  Summer programs include Adventure Camp, Blue Crush Camp, Horselovers and Cowboy Camp and more!

When considering your application please keep in mind there are a number of requirements common to paid and volunteer staff serving in positions at Pleasant Hill Outdoor Center. They are as follows:

• Commitment to Jesus Christ as Savior and willingness to mature and grow as a Christian
• Capability of taking and following instructions: responding well to leadership
• Good self-concept reflected in appearance, behavior and relationships with others. 
• The use of alcoholic beverages, tobacco, and non-prescription drugs are prohibited for all staff including their time off.
