Waterfront Director

We at Surprise Lake Camp are looking for a motivated, energetic person with lifeguard training to look after water-based activities at our camp. SLC (Surprise Lake Camp) is a non-profit children’s camp just on the east side of Edson. It has been around for over 50 years to provide the campers with fun filled activities and enlarge the camper’s own vision of the potential as human beings. SLC is a semi wilderness camp allowing kids to experience the wilderness, lake, as well as develop a respect for nature and appreciating its value.

Working as a waterfront director will be a rewording summer job. It is an excellent job to be added to anyone’s resume for future reference. You must be flexible and able to work with children campers and staff in a positive manor. As waterfront director you will also be involved with the helping of daily programs and or their planning. If you can work with campers and staff for a summer, at a camp, on a lake this job is for you.

Required skills:
Lifeguard certification

First aid

Canoeing certification (If you don’t have it we may be able to line you up with a course so you may acquire it.)

18 or older
