The Devereux Foundation

Devereux is a residential treatment center for Special Needs Clients.  We have children from 5 years old to 14 years old.  Devereux hires 20+ staff for the Summer to work directly with these children.  Direct Care Professionals have the opportunity to take the textbook knowledge and see it in action first hand.  Most of our children come to us through the Texas Child Protective Services and have severe emotional, behaviorial and psychological challenges.  When the children first come to us they are too severe for foster care but some of them are able to eventually move into a foster care setting and on to adoption.
