The Fresh Air Fund

The Fresh Air Fund operates five residential summer camps on a beautiful reservation 65 miles north of New York City. Every year, over 3,000 city children from low-income communities are given the chance to learn about the outdoors, make new friends and develop trust and personal strength at camp. Activities include swimming, arts & crafts, hiking, camping, sports, drama, film, music, dance and outdoor adventures. The camps are: Camp ABC for 9-15 year old girls; Camp Hayden-Marks for 9-12 year old boys; Camp Tommy for 12-15 year old boys; Camp Mariah for 11-15 year old boys and girls in our Career Awareness Program; and Camp Hidden Valley for 8-12 year old boys and girls both with and without special needs and physical disabilities.
