Announcing Summer Staff Positions at The Painted Turtle! It is the mission of the Painted Turtle to provide a year-round, life-changing environment for these children and their families -- one that allows children to participate in an authentic camp experience by supporting their medical needs and offers their families care, education, and respite. The Painted Turtle seeks to reach beyond illness, to inspire children with chronic and life-threatening illnesses to become their greater selves. We are seeking fun, enthusiastic, and responsible individuals to fill the following salaried positions for our summer camp program. *Please note: All summer staff positions run for 11 weeks, from May 30 - August 24, including a week-long orientation. Applicants must be at least 19 years of age to apply for staff and volunteer positions. Cabin Life Positions: Cabin Counselors Program Positions : Program Leaders and Program Counselors (Woodworking, Arts and Crafts, Boating and Fishing*, Fun and Games (Sports and Recreation, and Archery), Swimming*, Creative Arts (Dance, Theatre, and Moviemaking), Discovery (Nature, Star Lab, Gardening, and Baking), Equestrian*, and Adventure* (High and Low Ropes Course, Team-building Games). (*Certification required in certain areas.) Additional program positions include Camp Photographer and Camp Musician.
