Job Description
The Day Camp Coordinator will be working directly with the leadership staff around camp. We are looking for a creative individual that loves working with kids, and can also manage a staff of their own. You will be in charge of managing the day to day operations of the day camp portion of camp as well as communicating with the camp director. This position has a lot of potential for freedom for an enthusiastic individual that does not mind a little chaos in their life. A Bachelors degree in Environmental Studies, Education, Parks and Recreation, Biological & Earth Sciences, Youth Development, or other related fields is preferred. Applicants should also have a minimum of one year experience with Summer Camp Programs. Individuals must have a commitment to the environment, commitment to youth development, an interest in adventure-based or experiential education, and well developed communication skills. Creativity, enthusiasm and a love for hard work in a team atmosphere are also crucial to successful hiring and job completion.Job Criteria
