Description: This position is a supervisory, part time position that covers the health of our campers and our staff. We are a small camp and very family oriented, and this position supports our staff in keeping everyone healthy.
Duties: Meet with parents and staff on the first day of camp, manage our infirmary and first aid kits as well as communicate with staff about individual camper needs. Be on call when necessary to check on the health of the camp, as needed.
Qualifications: Previous experience with youth helpful, at least one year of nursing and health care experience in a professional setting.
Beneficial Certifications: RN, LPN, EMT, CPR for the Professional Rescuer.
Compensation: $1,500 for the season, part time, for 7 week camp season. Certified Nurses may bring children and attend appropriate camp programs if space allows. Food, tenting and use of Hawk Circle facilities also provided if necessary.
