Job Description
: The Teen Venture Leader is responsible for, but not limited to, performing the following acts of duty: • Supervise a group of 13 to 14 year olds campers • Create, organize, schedule and lead programming • Work with Program Coordinator to schedule activities and duties on a daily basis • Lead offsite overnights/hiking trips • Create and teach leadership skills • Practice and teach the YMCA’s Core values • Lead and supervise campers during designated activity times • Provide a nurturing and safe environment for teens • Oversee teens’ safety and personal care Job Qualifications: The Teen Venture Leader shall meet the following minimum requirements: • 21 years of age • Must have or able to obtain Red Cross CPR/First Aid and RTE certifications prior to camp start date • Have experience working in a camp settingJob Criteria
