Job Description
Location: Haverford, PA Status: Seasonal/Temporary Hours: Monday through Friday Times: 9am-2:30pm RESPONSIBILITIES: •Responsible for the welfare of up to 15 students during class •Teach students the fine points of initiating scenes and building off of partner's suggestions •Demonstrate how to improve performance and develop the skills necessary to tell a "true" story in an improvisational context •Cover the theory surrounding successful comedic and dramatic improvisation REQUIREMENTS: •Teaching certificate preferred •Must have an overall knowledge of drama, acting, and improvisation •Must have an enthusiastic approach to fun learning for young adults •Ability to work independently in a camp environment as well as within a team •Exceptional attention to detail and excellent communication skills required •Phenomenal rapport with the students is essential •Proven decision making and problem solving skills •Outgoing and sociable with strong organizational skills •Must be flexible to complete various duties as assignedJob Criteria
