Job Description
Location: Haverford, PA Status: Seasonal/Temporary Hours: Monday through Friday Time: 9am-2:30pm Students will learn how to use camera functions to take great pictures. Instructor will show students how shutter speed can stop fast-moving action, how depth of field can create an artistic background, or how changing your point of view can turn an ordinary subject into an outstanding photo. The class will cover digital photography, as well as the use of imaging programs like Photoshop. RESPONSIBILITIES: •Responsible for the welfare of up to 15 students during class •Teach all aspects of Photography and camera functions •Explore setting up lighting and use of camera to creat dramatic effects •Introduce students to stop motion, action, and close up shots •Cover traditional and digital photography, as well as use of imaging programs •Assist students in creating artistic backgrounds, and turning ordinary subjects into outstanding photos REQUIREMENTS: •Teaching certificate preferred •Must have an overall knowledge of photography •Must have an enthusiastic approach to fun learning with young adults •Ability to work independently in a camp environment as well as within a team •Exceptional attention to detail and excellent communication skills required •Phenomenal rapport with students is essential •Proven decision making and problem solving skills •Outgoing and sociable with strong organizational skills •Must be flexible to complete various duties as assignedJob Criteria
