Job Description
Camp Skylemar is a well-established (since 1948) recreational summer camp, located in the Lakes Region of southern Maine. Enrollment is limited to 160 boys from across the country as well as abroad, who attend for 7 weeks. Located on a 200 acre wooded campsite overlooking the White Mountains and a beautiful spring-fed lake, Skylemar offers a nurturing atmosphere with an emphasis on FUN.Safety-minded, energetic, fun facilitator needed to direct high/low ropes course adventure program, at summer camp in Maine. Director must have extensive ropes & team building experience, be a confident leader, be over 21 and enjoy working with children. He or she is responsible for safety, daily course preparation, instruction, leadership of team-building exercises, and supervision of six assistants. Course consists of twelve low elements and six high elements (including 200 foot zip line).
Mid-June to Mid-August.
Salary of $2500 & up for 8 week season. Also room, board, travel expenses, and laundry service.
