Job Description
Stone Mountain Adventures (SMA) is a co-ed camp for 12-16 year olds located in central Pennsylvania near Penn State University. Our adventure activities include: rock climbing, mountain biking, sailing, whitewater rafting, waterskiing, canoeing, caving, wake boarding, windsurfing & horseback riding Our Athletic Activities include: soccer, tennis, ultimate frisbee , basketball, golf, Frisbee golf, touch rugby, softball, flag football, etc. We also do arts studio, music making, service projects and many more. We are currently hiring WAKE BOARDING & WATERSKIING INSTRUCTORS. Raystown Lake is a 24 mile long man-made which has fantastic water for riding. We ride everyday on 21ft Glasstron GX205, 220 HP boat. Responsibilities Include: -Boat Driving -Instructing Campers both beginners & advanced -Maintaining safety standards -Share in general camp counselor duties (sleeping in cabins Etc) Applicants should have the following qualifications: -Experience teaching wake boarding & waterskiing -Experience driving a power boat -Experience working with kids and have a positive outlook on life -You should also be excited about the prospect of getting paid to "play & ride” for the summer. -Be 21+ years old -Have a valid drivers license. Internships Available. Contracts run from 6/15 to 8/20. First Aid & CPR training included.
