Job Description
All Cabin Counselors live with the campers in camper cabins with 3 to 4 counselors and 10 to 14 campers. Counselors spend much of their time outside, running or assisting with activities. The camp landscape requires an ability to navigate relatively rough terrain. Counselors should be comfortable in the water as many of the camp activities take place in or around the lake. Counselors are assigned to activity periods and must be able to work with a variety of ages and backgrounds. Although specific certifications are not required, they are helpful, especially lifeguarding, CPR and first aid. It is also helpful if the candidate is comfortable teaching one or two specific activities (sailing, swimming, tennis, climbing wall, soccer, riflery, archery, kayaking, handicrafts, lacrosse, plus)Job Criteria
