Help us create the “Magic” of Camping Services by joining the staff in one of the positions on the following page. All positions look for individuals who model the YMCA’s core values of honesty, respect, responsibility and caring. CABIN LEADER: Oversee cabin of children or teens and up to 2 teen leaders in training. Lead small and large group activities and assist with camp events and operation. Ensure safety of campers at all times. Requires minimum age 18 or high school graduate, and previous experience working with children. Camp experience desired but not required. Certification in CPR/First Aid prior to start of camp required. Waterfront Lifeguard certification highly desirable. Position is 6 weeks. Cabin Leaders receive one 24-hour day off each week.
