Academy by the Sea

We are pleased to announce that the new John Maffucci Field and Duffield Sports Center Pavilion are now complete. The field is made of a low-maintenance synthetic turf and offers field lighting with fixed seating in the stadium. The new sports center is 27,250 square feet with a basketball arena, wrestling and weight rooms, locker rooms, an athletic training room, and a concession stand.

The Academy facilities include a library, swimming pool, beach access, tennis courts, athletic fields, gymnasium, seven residence buildings, cafeteria, health center, classrooms, camp store, chapel, and an oceanfront recreation center. Participants stay in double and triple occupancy rooms. Each room is furnished with beds, clothing shelves, desks, and closet. In 2003 we added a brand new dorm that holds 100 people. Our other resident buildings are dorm and cottage style lodging.
