Kids summer camps provide your child with the chance to develop character, learn valuable life skills, make new friends, and discover new interests. The key to finding the right kids summer camps are to first ask some questions. What do you and your child hope to achieve from the camp experience? Does your child have any special interests that they want to explore?

Once you've answered these basic questions you will be able to select the type of kids summer camps appropriate for your child. Summer camps fall into two major categories - traditional camps and specialty camps like summer basketball camps and athletic training camps.
