Parents in Chevy Chase have to nail down their children's summer options almost laughably early.
The other day I got a call from the registrar at a summer camp I had started to sign my son up for the day before. I'd stopped before completing the registration process, because it appeared as though the program he is interested in is full. "That can't be true," I thought to myself, and sent an email inquiring politely if there was some sort of computer glitch.
I've been sending children to summer camp in the Chevy Chase area for nine years. I should have known better.
