The Christian Wilderness Retreat Center is located in the grandeur of the Rockies just 45 miles northeast of Gunnison, Colorado. With the impressive Continental Divide providing spectacular scenery, your group will be able to retreat to the secret place and experience life the way God originally intended it to be- in the Garden, away from cell phones, surrounded by some of His most amazing creative work.

While the average trip ranges from five to seven days, together with you, we can design a program of any length to meet your group's specific needs. We have provided successful experiences for youth groups, adult trips, singles retreats, men's and ladies Bible study groups, Sunday School Classes, college retention programs, as well as, large and small corporate groups. Our programs are offered to anyone who wishes to improve and challenge themselves physically, mentally, and spiritually.

The bulk of your trip is focused on your groups' personal goals and the Lord Jesus Christ. As the Base Camp of the Rockies seeks to serve through ministry, we will provide an environment for worship and Bible study. The guide staff will consider it an honor to share their Christ-centered testimony and/or draw out the spiritual lessons to be learned throughout a day at camp. Adventure Experiences considers it their responsibility to provide your group with devotionals and Scriptural teaching; however, your group is welcome to bring its own theme and teaching materials to camp. We will gladly assist your program in any way. 

Faith Statement Adventure Experiences seeks to provide safe and professional program options as a platform from which to effect eternal change. Every group that comes to Adventure Experiences Base Camp of the Rockies has their trip custom-designed to meet specific goals, time constraints, and budget limits.
