EXPLORING THE CULTURE OF POLAND: July 5 – July 18, 2011 Students will take a trip with The Locomotive by Julian Tuwim, through the famous stories and fables of Jan Brzechwa, and others. Acting, games, movement, music and art will help us develop our imagination, speaking and movement skills. With a show by the students on the last day of camp! EXPLORING THE CULTURE OF EGYPT: July 25 – August 5, 2011 Egypt Through beautiful ancient stories of Egypt, students will explore the Sahara Desert, walk through the pyramids, and entertain the pharaoh, with dance and stories. Children from the US and Poland will work together on a newly published book of stories, “Ksiezycowe Bajki”—‘The Moon’s Stories” by Ewa Odachowska-Zielinska. We will also explore the Tatra mountains and Zakopane and discover the beautiful city of Krakow. Zakopane (near Witkacy’s Theater) Ages: 9-13 Early Registration by March 31, 2011: $850
