DescriptionBack to top

Anytown Youth Leadership Institute is an 8-day full immersion residential program for high school youth interested in making their school and community environments more socially just. Youth participate in a series of experiential exercises that visually represent the different forms of oppression present in todays society. Participants share their personal experience and perspectives on these topics, learning and growing from each individual in the room. This learning increases youths' understanding of social justice issues and of their own responsibility to create a community based on inclusion, trust, and mutual respect, free of bullying. The Anytown curriculum gives todays youth the skill set necessary to be change agents and allies in their schools and broader communities.
