Aspengrove Equestrian Academy

Aspengrove Equestrian Academy was established in 1990 by Hilda Wohlford and her late husband Ron.
Hilda spent a good part of her life as a stay at home mom on her farm in the Kootenays, raising 4 daughters. All her girls where involved with and loved horses, so when the family moved to Vernon on the present 100 acre farm, she felt this was a good time for her to start up the riding academy.
She had sent her children to various horse camps throughout the years and was never really happy with what was offered. Safety is one of the biggest concerns and Aspengrove prides itself for the excellent record it has achieved.
Hilda, with the help of her new husband Lorne and her daughter Angie (EC level 1 instructor) take an active role in the daily operation and management of the programs.
