Camp Caroline is located in the beautiful foothills of the Rocky Mountains, a short 1-hour drive southwest of Red Deer and 1.5 hours northwest of Calgary. We offer week-long summer camps for kids in Grades 4 -12 and a 3-day camp for Grades 2/3. Campers sleep seven in a room with 1-2 staff in one of our modern lodges with dormitory-style bathrooms at the ends of the hallway. On-site activities include ropes course, climbing wall, zipline, swimming in our indoor pool, crafts, sports & games, dance, archery, orienteering, mountain boarding, horseback riding, volleyball, basketball, and soccer. Off-site options include canoeing, hiking, climbing & rappelling, mountain biking, whitewater rafting, and waterskiing. However, we intend that a week of camp will be more than just new and fun interests, memorable stories, or great friendships. We also desire to give campers an opportunity to consider the spiritual component of their life in light of the life of Jesus Christ and the Bible. We don't force this. We share it, through nature, engaging music, considerate teaching, and daily living. We plan to model the values of peace, joy, self-giving love, respect, and truth, and challenge approximately 180 young people every week to choose likewise.
