Greylock was founded in 1916 to create a summer home for growing boys – a natural environment of group living and athletic instruction where campers would learn the value of friendship, effort, and respect.  Over ninety years later, Greylock continues to impart these values.  We strive to make Camp Greylock a safe place where children are taught to become self-reliant, self-respecting, and self-controlled; where they develop their bodies through athletic activities and their minds through new experiences.

Above all, what we want for campers and for ourselves can be summed up in less than 10 words:  To learn and have fun in a safe environment.

The Greylock Program is designed for active, healthy boys who wish to spend the summer improving their skills in sports and non-athletic areas while having lots of fun and making life-long friends. Instruction, athletic and non-athletic, is the foundation of the daily program. Campers receive excellent instruction in a wide variety of activities over the course of the summer. Areas of focus include all major landsports, extensive waterfront activities, an exciting outdoor adventure program, and a well-developed art department. There are also opportunities for each camper to explore activities of his choosing that are not part of our regular program or to seek out extra time and instruction in a particular area. Greater free choice is given to campers as they grow older.
